Over the last few days, members of the Speakers Collective have joined millions of others in the big conversations across the UK on mental health, power and violence against women. We are proud that so many of our members have been engaged in these debates and shared their insights and lived experience.
One of our directors, Chris Hemmings, spoke openly about his own flaws and previous mistakes in his behaviour towards women - something he documented at length in his book - and he encouraged other men to do similar. Following an appearance on BBC News, serious allegations were made about him on social media and in light of these Chris Hemmings is currently suspended from his role with the Speakers Collective.
