Specialisms: Empathy, Community and Archaeology for Wellbeing

Dr. Celia Orsini is an archaeologist, wellbeing practitioner, and storyteller of human resilience.

With a PhD from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and research experience at Durham University, she has dedicated her career to uncovering how past communities-built connection, balance, and strength under pressure.

Through her company Archaeology for Wellbeing, Celia transforms these insights into dynamic workshops and keynotes for today’s workplaces. She helps organizations rediscover the art of collaboration, empathy, and renewal—drawing lessons from ancient healing sanctuaries, medieval herbal gardens, and everyday rituals that kept communities thriving.

Celia’s approach is both groundbreaking and deeply human: she blends archaeology with modern wellbeing tools like meditation, reflexology, and heritage-based storytelling. Her work shows teams that the past is not distant or dusty—it’s alive with strategies that can reduce burnout, strengthen bonds, and reimagine how we work together.
