Dave Bedford (he/him) is an experienced, ISTQB-certified QA Analyst and CPD-certified ADHD Coach. He trained with Leanne Maskell of ADHD Works, bestselling author of AuDHD: Blooming Differently and a leading voice in the neurodivergent community.

With over 20 years in IT, Dave has devised test strategies that helped launch the world’s first 3G mobile network and implement SMS voting for American Idol. His career in software testing played to his strengths: black and white logic with clear outcomes... systems either meet the requirements or they don’t.

Dave was born with a severe bilateral hearing loss, meaning he can't naturally hear half the consonants required for speech recognition. A late-diagnosed AuDHDer, he first received his autism diagnosis at 40, and his ADHD diagnosis later at the age of 50. He is also father to two neurodivergent children.

His talks blend lived experience with workplace inclusion and exclusion, navigating the world believing he was neurotypical, and complex unmasking that comes with late diagnosis. Dave explores what it means to re-evaluate your entire life through an AuDHD lens with insight, honest, and frequent humour.

Expect real, relatable, and inspiring stories filled with unique analogies, unflinching honesty, and the kind of neurodivergent humour that finds light in dark corners. All with different perspectives, from his own neurodivergence, to how it is different and often clashes with that of his children.

Dave offers keynote speeches, talks, panels, workshops, and training either online or in person.

He lives in Wokingham, England, and is happy to travel.
