Django Perks, at 17 years old, is a dedicated activist focusing on critical issues such as climate change, climate education, and mental health.
With experience as a Campaign Coordinator for a climate education campaign (Teach the Teacher), an active member of the Sheffield Youth Council, and a volunteer for Teach the Future, Django offers a unique and informed perspective.
Django’s past speaking experiences include facilitating a panel at the Futurebuild Conference and delivering a keynote address on climate action to an audience of 200 SME owners, council members, and professionals. His work also extends to promoting mental health awareness, particularly for those on the autistic spectrum, aiming to reduce stigma and increase understanding.
In all his endeavours, Django strives to empower young people and advocate for meaningful change. His insights and experiences make him a valuable contributor to discussions on youth participation, sustainability, and mental health.
