Dr Wuroud is an established general practitioner with an ardent passion for mental health. She currently works in a number of surgeries in four of the main boroughs (Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and Ealing) and has a deep special interest in children and adolescent mental health.
She has over ten years of medical experience, and has a wealth of experience dealing with mental health issues having worked in all areas in London including Queen Elizabeth, King's College, Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Ealing and Northwick Park Hospitals.
She has received great acclaim for her efforts in improving child and adolescent mental health services locally, and has been a speaker at international venues in Dubai, Jordan and London.
She is trilingual with a deep understanding of mental health across all communities. She is a regular appearance in local schools where she has received praise for her efforts in boosting resilience and improving mental strength and well-being.
She has research published in international journals including the British Medical Journal, and constantly strives to combine a fervent passion for research with clinical excellence and knowledge application.
She is a member of the CYPMHC and has a Diploma in Children and Young People Mental Health and Wellbeing.
