John has delivered speeches and workshops to organisations including the Home Office, the London School of Economics, St. John Ambulance, and Royal Mail. John is currently a National Plenary Speaker for Mental Health First Aid England.

He has given talks from both a lived experience perspective and as a writer working in TV and film — where he continues to crusade for better representations of mental health!
