Specialisms: Living with a brain injury, Digital Accessibility, Disability Inclusion, Resilience after acquiring a disability.
Kaye started working in digital marketing in 2002 and has worked for large corporations through to small businesses.
In 2020, aged 37, Kaye had multiple strokes. She uses her lived experience and that of her colleagues to create inclusive, accessible digital products from websites and Apps through to live video, animation and marketing.
She is passionate about making the digital world more accessible; one website, one social media channel or one marketing campaign at a time. We spend so much time online and with an aging population, non native speakers and people with disabilities, Kaye believes an accessible user-friendly platform gives businesses a competitive advantage that stands out from the rest.
Kaye recently received the award for 'Digital Accessibility Champion of the year' due to her relentless training and education to DEI managers, designers and developers on how to make small adjustments to their communication to make it more inclusive and accessible.Â
Kaye talks about adjusting to life following a life changing event and how resilience and mental health is tested when acquiring a disability so young and the stigma around strokes and unconscious bias can make a stroke survivors journey more challenging.
