Nick ‘Fancy Dress Dad’ Jemetta is an award-winning mental health campaigner, speaker, and wellbeing consultant.

He is on a mission to show that we are more than our mental health. He embodies his belief that our mental health does not define us and does not limit our potential, or our happiness.

In his distinct style, Nick’s inspirational journey from anxious teenage introvert to creator of the nationally recognised Fancy Dress Challenge, is an uplifting, powerful story of hope, positivity and self-care.

Delivering talks to businesses, charities, schools, higher education, and the NHS, he demonstrates how to build mental resilience through a proactive approach to wellbeing. His previous clients include Les Mills, RSPB, Samaritans, Pacific Life Re, Network Rail, Direct Line Group and The Highfield School.

His work campaigning for transformational change to create mentally healthier workplaces led to him winning the This Can Happen Future Leader Award in 2019. The judges described Nick as; “an inspiring leader and change agent, with relentless energy to make a difference in people’s lives. Nick is living proof that change is possible.”

More recently, he was a regional finalist in Pride of Britain’s ‘Fundraiser of the Year’, and highly commended at the Inside Out awards.

Tree Hall, CEO of Charity IT Leaders, and one of Nick’s clients describes him as; “an extraordinary speaker who created a powerful and positive impression with our leaders.”

Nick is a Stability Network Leader, an Ambassador for This Can Happen and an Ambassador for the Charity, ‘Been There’. Nick endorses the Mental Health Media Charter, is a trained Mental Health First Aider and has basic DBS assurance.
