Burn Out & Brain Health Workshop

Dr. Rachel Gow is a member of Speakers Collective and helping to organise a really important workshop Burnout & Brain Health in London on Friday 3rd May 2024.

Burnout is a World Health Organization (WHO) recognised phenomenon that commands much-needed attention!

Anyone can be affected by burnout out and it can be the silent syndrome that uninvited, creeps into your life.

Burnout is described as a state of physical and emotional exhaustion that can occur following a prolonged period of intense stress and excessive fatigue.

Contributing factors include attempts to balance job demands with parenting, studying, relationship breakdown, bereavement, financial pressures and/or debt, poor physical health, undiagnosed ADHD, isolation, and more.

It is also a key reason that people have days off, are less productive in the workplace, and, ultimately leave their jobs.

In 2022, the cost of burnout and poor mental health was estimated to impact the UK economy alone by an estimated £56 billion. Individuals with (undiagnosed) ADHD are also more likely to experience burnout.

Our event opens the conversation on the topic of burnout and discusses prevention, recovery, and treatment.

It shares stories from real-life experiences and, valuable techniques in terms of recovery, emotional well-being support, and brain-health-promoting tools for building resilience.

This event is a must-attend for anyone at risk of burnout (which UK statistics estimate as at least 1 in 5 people affected), every HR manager and employee, adults with ADHD, CEOs, and entrepreneurs, and everyone impacted by or struggling with a mental health condition.

Burnout and Brain Health is all about advocacy, prevention, recovery, healing, and maintaining wellness.

A must-attend event for everyone!

You will hear from a range of individuals, clinical psychologists, medical doctors, experts in this field, public speakers, and more on a wide range of topics including but not limited to:
