Pete works in social enterprises across the disability and mental health sectors.
He writes and speaks about his experience of losing his mother to suicide when 15 months old and his gradual journey of discovery having not explored his grief for his first 45 years.
Pete has collaborated with the Heart of Glass social arts agency and artist Mark Storor on The Suicide Chronicles which aims to discover a language to explore the effects of suicide.
He has spoken at a number of events including delivering the keynote speech at the 2021 International Suicide Bereavement conference in Manchester.
Pete is a member of the National Suicide Prevention Alliance network who offer the voice of lived experience to organisations working to prevent suicide and support those left behind.
